Spanish Health Minister, Salvador Illa, gave a statement to regional leaders evoking the necessity of face masks. Furthermore, he contended that this will be reinforced in the next few days.
Health official across Spain and the world have become more persistent over the past month that face masks will give a huge boost in tackling the deadly virus. They argue that this will become more evident when society creeps slowly back into the new normal.
However, not everyone agrees with the minister’s strict sentiments. Fernando Simon, Director of Health Emergencies, expressed that it will be difficult to enforce the public to wear masks. He concluded by ensuring that the two metre rule is the best mask against Covid-19.
