The Costa del Sol is actively looking for talent for its tourist industry. Hundreds of roles are hoped to be filled and some of these positions include cooks, managers, waiters, and much more.
The initial two recruitment days will occur on March 29th in Malaga and around 500 staff are hoped to be recruited on the first day for hotels and restaurants across the Costa del Sol. These recruitment days will take place at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos in Malaga and around 1,500 applicants are expected to be interviewed by the 40 different companies participating.
This information was provided at the official presentation of the recruitment day where José Luque, the president of the Aehcos hotelier association, Javier Frutos, the president of the Mahos restaurant association, and Manuel Villafaina, the president of the Beach Businesses Association participated.
Others that attended included Nuria Rodriguez, the Junta de Andalucia’s Tourism delegate, Luis Verde, the councillor for Employment and Youth, and Rocío Ruiz, the Malaga provincial council’s Director of Training and Employment.
They explained the vibrancy of the tourism sector in the Costa del Sol and that these jobs are good quality roles. They advised people to make contact with the businesses that interest them when they register for the event online and to send them their CVs directly.
