The British band, Simply Red will be performing in the Costa del Sol this summer. They will be returning on Sunday, June 5th to Fuengirola to perform at the Marenostrum festival. Simply Red was the festival’s first significant international act in 2016. Since then, they have been highly requested to return and perform again.
The band will be performing some of their most popular songs at the seventh edition of the Costa del Sol music and culture festival. Some of these include Holding Back the Years, For Your Babies, Stars, If You Don’t Know Me by Now, Sunrise and Something Got Me Scared.
They have had 60 million records sold across the globe and more than 30 number one hit songs. Their success is the result of their excellent and engaging live performances and their musical quality. Simply Red also has a timelessness and this is highlighted by the recent release of the Simply Red Remixed album. This album involves worldwide producers and DJs remastering 22 songs, including some that have never been released previously.
