It will be opening in the former place of the Don Miguel Hotel which closed around 17 years ago. Henri Giscard d’Estaing, president of Club Med says his group hopes to establish this Marbella resort as the company’s flagship in the Costa del Sol.
The new hotel will accommodate 1,000 guests and run an all-inclusive basis. It has a total of 14 floors, 490 rooms, five swimming pools, a spa, ten tennis courts, a kids’ club, numerous restaurants, beach volleyball, a golf course, a circus school, and a basketball pitch.
In addition, there will be 14 conference rooms, the largest of which can accommodate more than 1,000 people. Currently, the company is hiring for around 320 jobs and they want 75% of the people they hire to be from the local area.
